Pichi Richi Park in the Flinders Ranges
Pichi Richi Park is located in the Flinders Ranges, 20 minutes north of Port Augusta and 10 minutes south of Quorn, South Australia. Situated in the picturesque Pichi Richi pass.
The Park is set on 1000 acreas of natural Australian bushland, nestled amongst the beautiful mountains of the majestic Flinders Ranges.
The Park has long been a favourite for groups over the years and loved by several owners. To this day sadly we are unsure of the original history of Pichi Richi Park, we are aware Gordon & Robyn Faulkner had the Park for sometime, in this time it is evident they did a lot of work on the property, after the sad passing of Gordon the Park was owned independently by partners in Adelaide and run as a rehabilitation centre. You can understand how this venue would have been ideal for such a purpose but unfortunately funding was difficult and the Park became a little run down. In 2006, Nic and Jodie purchased the property with a lot of enthusiasm (perhaps too much!), the Park is proudly back up to a fantastic standard of great facilities and management.
The focus of the Park over the next 12 months complimented with the great winter we have just had is conservation and ‘outdoor’ activities; bushwalks and outdoor camp kitchen.
The facilities are ideal for:
- Educational groups
- 2013 will focus on the benefits of ‘Outdoor Adventure & Challenges
- Corporate functions and team building
- Special Events
- Family retreats, celebrations
- Christmas functions
