The Park is a favourite for many clubs to use as a base or a retreat location for meetings, adventure or just a load of fun & bonding!
The facilities are central to many of the Flinders popular walking trails including our own private trails and the Heysen Trail runs across the property.
The Park is also ideally located for Road Trippers (through the beautiful Pichi Richi Pass) to the historic Quorn (with 4 pubs) drivers can venture through beautiful scenic areas (we recommend Quorn – Melrose – Hawker – Warrens Gorge – Quorn). Suggested itinerary: rondevu Quorn morning tea in one of the quaint coffee bistros with many homemade yums! Lunch in Melrose, pick-up a good bottle of red from one of the cellar doors ie Bartagunyah! Stretch the legs in Hawker, perhaps view the panoramic paintings, drive via old Buckaringa Gorge, call into Warrens Gorge; sample some of that red, wait for the wallaby’s to venture out and head to one of the Historic Quorn pubs for a country dinner to finish a great day!
We love to host pre season fitness camps for Sporting Clubs. Ryan loves challenging the teams with the ‘up hill down hill’ orienteering course, Clubs generally access the newly refurbished Quorn swimming pool for relays, then of course the facilities back at the Park offer great set up for the ‘bonding’ Barbeque.
One of the very special things about Pichi Richi Park is that the surroundings and venue are appreciated by a large array of groups.
The Park is ideal for groups to celebrate weddings, special birthdays, Christmas in December and July!
We also host a number of groups for annual camps such as Heart Kids, Epilepsy SA, Young Careers , Aboriginal Language Groups, Aboriginal Womens’ Groups, Workplace Retreats, Corporate Bonding groups and many more.
