Pichi Richi Terms & Conditions

It is the responsibility of all guests to be aware of and

act in accordance to the following hire conditions.

By confirming your reservation you are acknowledging acceptance of these terms.

Arrival & Departure
Check in after 2pm & departure before 11am. Time of arrival should be confirmed to management to ensure access. Variations to early check in or late checkout may be negotiated on application.

Number of Guests
The number of persons sleeping at the property is to be confirmed at time of booking. If numbers exceed your final confirmation you must advise management immediately. Campers and sleeping in cars is NOT permitted on site. Evidence of unauthorised camping will result in a deduction of $15 per incident from your bond.

Cleaning on Departure, Damages, Loss and Theft
In an effort to maintain affordable group venue hire facilities it is expected that the facilities be left clean & tidy, including floors and surfaces. We do pride ourselves on offering a clean & tidy facility for each group, to assist a cleaner is employed to refresh prior to each booking. We ask that you let us know if anything is not appropriate or please report any breakages or maintenance issues as soon as possible. All breakages and damage to property or goods are to be paid for from your deposit funds at the cost of repair/replacement. Any missing (or stolen) items will be replaced from your deposit funds at the cost of replacement. In the situation where the damages or losses exceed the cost of the bond, you will be invoiced for any outstanding costs. Failure to remit may result in legal action and banning from re-entering the property.

Vacuum cleaners and cleaning supplies are provided for your use in the case of ‘excessive messes’ e.g. mud, spillages, vomit, food mess etc. In terms of ‘tidiness’, the venue must be left as you found it. Failure to do so may result in a forfeit of your bond.  Sick buckets must be washed out and dried. Failure to use or adequately clean sick buckets will result in a deduction of $25 per incident from your bond, plus any associated costs (e.g. damage to mattress protectors).

NO smoking or candles in any rooms, and no eating in courtyard rooms. Our facilities are fitted with smoke alarms which when activated results in a call-out from the CFS costing $600.If smoke alarms are set off unnecessarily by one of your group members (e.g. smoking, candles etc.) your group is expected to cover the cost of the call-out. During fire ban season (October – April) smoking is permitted in the designated smoking area ONLY. Please see the Park Layout for the designated smoking area.

Please place all food scraps in allocated ‘chook/scrap buckets’ located in dining room white cupboard and remove all rubbish to outside allocated wheelie bins. Cans and bottles are all recycled with proceeds going to charity, but feel free to take them with you if you wish. All cans, bottles, bottle tops and cigarette buts must be picked up prior to departure. Our facilities are often used for Health Retreats and School camps and therefore $1 will be deducted from your bond for each cigarette butt and bottle top left behind.

 

Gas Refills
Gas for the heaters and BBQs will be full on your arrival, re-fills are available for $15.Cabin guests please advise us if your gas runs out (hot water) and we will manage the refill.

 

Bedding and Linen
Cabins have all bedding & linen for 4 persons (additional on request).

All beds are equipped with mattress & pillow protectors, pillow and rooms have spare blankets.   Courtyard bedding & linen HIRE; $17 per person includes; doona, cover, flat & fitted sheets, pillowslip & towel.

 

Provisions
The cabins are well equipped for self catering including large electric frying pan, outside small BBQ, campfire hotplate, large veranda with outdoor furniture and a private distant from the group venue.

Courtyard, function venue has a large range of equipment and furnishing ideal for small of large groups self catering or hosting large functions; please see our “What’s Here List”.  Supplies are allocated for each booking; dishwashing detergent, soap, sponges, cleaning supplies and toilet paper & tea towels.

 

Departure
Please check all doors and windows are securely closed on departure and keys;
Cabin keys left in the door, Courtyard keys, all accountable for & left in bucket in the kitchen.

Please make sure you have completed the ‘cleaning checklist’.

 

Payment
Cabin bookings must be made in full to secure your booking.

Venue hire bookings (excludes school bookings) require a $300 security deposit, within 5 days of booking confirmation to secure date. The security deposit may be refunded after your departure, upon a successful cleaning/damages inspection. Final numbers must be provided 14 days prior to arrival and full payment 1 week prior to your time of arrival. EFT is preferable, money orders or cheques may be used if received and cleared prior to your arrival.

 

Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking or amend numbers please contact the office as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to relet the property, however if we are unable to relet, all monies will be forfeited. If the property is relet, all monies will be refunded to you minus a $85 administration fee. School groups will incur 30% of costs for cancellations made 10 days prior to camp. Group bookings can be rescheduled if 90 days notice provided.

Cabin bookings can be rescheduled if guests provide a minimum of 30 days notice.

 

General
A minimum of 2 night stay is essential over long weekends and South Australia school holidays.

No caravans, tents or campers are permitted without prior application.

Any property left on the premises will be retained for collection for 14 days from the time of departure and may be collected from this office or return posted at cost.

Cabin bookings will be advised of any booked functions that conflict (& guests are approved to change their booking or full refund).

We have satellite television and no mobile service (unless you go up the hill)!

Pets are prohibited.

Campfires are in nominated areas only, fire bans must be checked & weather conditions considered.
Fire wood collection is prohibited in most of the Flinders Ranges, including Pichi Richi Park. Firewood is available for purchase at the Park, or you can bring your own.

We are reliant on rainwater – PLEASE be very Water Wise.

Please advise a group leader or leave a note about destination/length of bushwalks.

Rates may be subject to change for bookings made more than 12 months in advance at the discretion of management.
